Emergencies: If
you have a medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest
emergency department. For all other calls that cannot wait until regular
office hours, the physician on emergency call may be paged by dialing
901-541-5781 Email Changes!
Because we need to comply with government HIPAA Rules (Health Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act- see here:
http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/), we will not be able to use email
to communicate with you about your healthcare.
Please call the clinic and try to be patient as we adjust to increased
number of phone calls that will result because of this change.
We are working to establish a website that will allow secure messaging
between us that meets the government's requirements.
This means almost all the forms you are used to using are now gone,
leaving only the ones of a very general nature.
Please do not use them for any medical or personally related questions.
Also, if you have put any of these email addresses from our replies into
your address book, any emails to those addresses will bounce back with a
message similar to the above.
